About Us
Illinois Valley Wellness Resources is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the well-being of older adults and individuals with disabilities in our community. Our mission is to help our neighbors remain safe, independent, and supported in their own homes, where comfort and dignity matter most.
We understand that aging and disability can bring unexpected challenges. Simple daily needs such as transportation, safe housing conditions, or access to basic support can become overwhelming without help. That is why we focus on practical, community-based solutions that allow individuals to maintain stability and quality of life at home.
By bringing together volunteers, donors, families, and local partners, we respond to real needs with compassion, accountability, and respect. Everything we do is rooted in the belief that no one in our community should face aging or disability alone.

Our Adopt-a-Senior program connects caring volunteers with older adults who need extra support with everyday tasks. From transportation to appointments to small household help and friendly check-ins, this program ensures no one feels alone.
Medical & Cancer Support
Facing medical treatment can be overwhelming. We provide practical assistance like fuel and grocery gift cards and comfort support so individuals can focus on healing instead of financial stress.
Air Purifier Assistance
Clean air is essential for health and comfort. We provide air purifiers and replacement filters to individuals facing respiratory challenges, helping them breathe easier and remain safely in their homes.
