Illinois Valley Wellness Resources

Illinois Valley Wellness Resources is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, dedicated to improving the lives of senior and disabled people in our community. We bring together the resources of individuals, families and businesses to support those that need our help the most. Our mission is supporting the well-being of older adults and individuals with disabilities in their homes.  

Our programs have touched the lives of countless individuals; one particularly successful aspect has been our Resource List which is curated directory of vetted workers for hire, alongside our Adopt-a-Senior program which is dedicated volunteers who assist with various tasks such as household chores, transportation to medical appointments, and ensuring access to prescriptions. Furthermore, our Medical/Cancer support program offers aid through gift cards for fuel, food, and comfort items, providing crucial support during treatment.

Your generous donations have the power to make a real difference. They allow us to continue offering our programs to those who need them the most. Your support enables us to cover the cost of providing tarps, heaters/AC units, wood stove repair parts for our Weather Assistance program, Air Purifiers and replacement filters for those facing chronic health challenges in our Air Purifier program, gift cards to our Adopt-a-Senior volunteers, operational costs, expanding outreach, and so much more.
